What would happen If a 17 year old girl had amnesia and no one claimed her?

Like let's say whoever dropped her off at the hospital never gave any iformation but her name and her birthday and there was no missing persons report filed and they had no way of finding her parents



Would she go into foster care? Or could she get her own place



What If one of the locals offered to keep her



Would she get a job or would the state give her money



Would she be put into highschool, Or what would happen



Would they give her a new identity?



If so when would they give her a new identity?



Would she pick her own name or would it be the name that the person who brought her to the hospital gave her?
