What is it called when you switch places?

Like your in one place one second and another the next but you don't remember how you got there? I know its part of borderline personality disorder. I saw it in Girl Interrupted, but does that symptom have a name? could it be amnesia or something else? like splitting or idk what else it could be?What is it called when you switch places?
Its either having flashbacks or experiencing dissociation (this is very common in bpd).



Dissociation often occurs when someone is finding something difficult- the brain sort of shuts off and makes you disconnect with what is going on.

Dissociative reaction. It used to be called multiple personality. When under stress a person dissociates from the situation. Seek counseling.
