I think it was geese... anyway, she lost her mother and got amnesia, and then raised these orphaned birds. Her dad then made a little plane for her, and she eventually taught the birds to fly, and then migrate on their own. Aww i love this movie, Its called ''Fly Away Home'' such a great story to it. I just love the away the geese follow her around and how they are not sure about leaving her at the end.
