How do you think this girl survived?

If this happened in the beginning of a book, what's your prediction on how the girl survived (it's more than just a miracle)? I have an idea for it, but I'm starting to think it's too predictable.



So basically what happens is there's this girl - Melanie Rae Adkins. When she was 5, she was found lying on a sidewalk 鈥?unconscious, badly burnt, and practically drenched in her own blood. Everyone thought she was a goner but overnight she made a miraculous recovery. Just the night before she was practically considered dead, but by morning, she was breathing normally and was able to make coherent conversation. When she was asked about her parents, she couldn't remember anything about them or her life before she was found unconscious - except that her name is Melanie. The doctors could only guess it was amnesia. After years of investigating to find anyone who had relations with the girl with no results, the girl is sent to an adoption agency, and 2 years later she is adopted by Joe and Jennifer Adkins. The story is told from here on out is in the girl's point of view, 12 years later.How do you think this girl survived?
I agree with the first answerer. She either has some sort of supernatural power/force working in her favor, she has... like "super speedy" healing, or she has some sort of faulty (because of the amnesia) experiments going on.. :)How do you think this girl survived?
Well it depends on the pretense of the book. Most likely scenario is something to do with the supernatural or some guardian angel. There could be a theory that maybe whoever did it to her came and visited her and like... fixed her? It's far fetched but its a theory.How do you think this girl survived?
