What Type of Amnesia?

for my creative writing piece in english i want to write a diary entry of a girl with a form of Anterograde Amnesia, in which she cannot remember anything before she was hit by a car. The form is similar to that of the character 'Lucy' in the film 50 First Dates, if any of you have seen this, however I found out that the type she had was fictional!

If there are any types you know that are similar and that i could use for my writing i would be very grateful if you let me know, and if you have more info on them that would be great.

Advise on the assessment would also be greatly appreciated!
